His-Story work day this Saturday!

by Cheryl on December 7, 2007

Happy Friday friends : )

12 days until opening night! If you have not invited someone to come yet, please think of 2 or 3 other families or friends that you can bring to witness the life of Jesus Christ!

By the way, we still need at least 4 grown men to fill in some critical casting spots. No lines to worry about! The entire story is narrated. These key characters: The Angel Gabriel, The Inn Keeper, and shepherds – need only put on the costume we have for you, and be available Dec. 19 – 22 for rehearsal and productions from 6-8pm. Help us complete God’s cast!!

This Saturday (tomorrow, the 8th) will be an exciting time. It’s our last official work day before our dress rehearsal with cast and crew on Dec. 19th. We’ve been working feverishly and prayerfully on every area of the production. If you drive by 12th & Chicon today, you’ll see four 12 ft. canvases painted with Bible-times landscaping and rocks on either side of our metal bus barn. You’ll see an inn – waiting for paint, a tomb of beat up styrofoam “rocks” – just missing some detail, and a large cross made of Cedar – waiting to be mounted. You’ll see shiny silver poles (newly planted in the asphalt), working together to eventually form a viewing fence, and colorful Christmas lights lining the property.

Tomorrow will complete many steps toward being ready to share this true story. Join us from 9am- 4pm or any time in-between. Email me at cheryl@MPAustin.org or comment here if you have any questions. Please pray for safety and efficiency for all involved. See you there!
