Random allergic reaction : (

Did you ever wake up 5 days in a row with a new patch of itchy redness? Not fun.

Praise God for modern medicine and conveniences! I was blessed enough to drive in the car that God gave me with my precious husband to a doctor’s office nearby (with health insurance) and speak to a professional who knew which types of creams and pills would make my life a bit more pleasant. I don’t know how they endured such things “back in the day…”

It seems our broken bodies have been getting in the way at Mission Possible… Billie Robinson is freshly out of the hospital from a severe virus (we are praising God that she did not need her gall bladder out as we suspected!) She is our lovely receptionist/mother at the office and vital to our inner-workings.

Jackie Cherico is recovering from a surgery involving the installment of 2 heart splints last week. We are not letting Tim Jr. up on any more ladders – and I’m praying protection over Tim Sr. who suffers chronic back pain. (Join me! He is a target for the enemy – no doubt!)

Happy news in his family – Tim Sr.’s daughter Kim is expecting their third child! Please pray for protection for Kim and for her new baby as she struggles with lupus and arthritis. God graciously brought her a new doctor who has plans for her joint reconstruction after the little one arrives.

For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality…. then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

I Corinthians 15: 52-58
