This day, that The LORD has made

by Cheryl on October 16, 2012

I began the day today declaring and singing through our little house: “This is the day that The LORD has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it!” And, “I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter His courts with praise! I will say ‘This is the day that The LORD has made,’ I will rejoice for He has made me glad!” Amen and amen! And I will end it on the same note. His love has made me glad! He is so good to me. It is always a choice to dwell on His sweet presence with me, or to focus on anything and everything else.

Cutie Pie. Although both of my girls are somewhere along the road to being potty trained, i have a feeling we will be buying 3 sizes of diapers for at least a few months. Not for a lack of effort!!

Little Isaiah is measuring right on at 35 weeks! The Doc predicted that he weighs about 5 lbs now. I’m wondering if he is a little “ham bone” personality… he is very responsive to touch and seems to know when it’s mommy or someone else’s hand. This little guy is quite strong and determined, sometimes I have to put my hand on my belly to push his tiny foot back in while he “tests his limits!” I have a feeling he and Hayley will be “iron sharpening iron” over the years. Time will tell! Hannah is just thrilled to hold him and “see his little toes.” She has been very calm and gentle with other babies and I am SO looking forward to seeing her with her baby brother. So fun!!

And this is what happens when a munchkin (who chooses not to sleep while her mother and sister do) rides in her comfy car seat all the way to Target.

Munching snacks in her big girl car seat. (Well rested from her nap of course)
