I am very happy to announce my newest sister, Jessica Lowe!! We spent an action packed weekend at the end of March in Nacogdoches, Texas celebrating Ben’s brother Isaac and his new bride Jessica.

After two years of sleeping on a mattress and box springs, we brought home our new bed frame today! Penny was determined to “help” during the assembly…

Here it is, all put together!

Thank you Lord for even the simple, temporal things you give us to enjoy and praise you for!

Benjamin and I have recently returned from a trip to California’s Bay Area! Ben’s parents Rob and Deonne invited their three boys and their gals to sight-see in the area the boys were born in, and attend a wedding in the family in Los Gatos. We had so much fun meeting old friends, visiting old landmarks, chatting with relatives, and touring Carmel and San Francisco together!

This trip was a great chance to step out of our daily routines and listen to The Lord and love on each other. We had lots of travel time to chat, read, and bond. We praise God for our sweet family!!

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my brothers… I am a woman blessed with four wonderful brothers! Jacob, Bobby, Isaac, and Josiah are some of the most fun, endearing guys you’ll ever meet…

But there’s just something to be said for SISTERS!! My brother Jacob and Benjamin’s bro Josiah have chosen beautiful brides and will both become husbands this summer! Jacob and Channing (above) will marry in May, and Josiah and Lauren (below) in July.

Channing is used to sisters (having grown up with 3). She is a witty theater tech guru, revolutionizing Baylor University’s program. Charming Channing is artistic, a LOST fanatic, and smitten with my brother Jacob. : ) Peek at their wedding web page here!

Josiah’s lovely Lauren is too much fun! Lauren has an older brother and is a talented photographer and “indie” music aficionado. Check out some of her creative work here! She and Josiah are sweet together and are both earning degrees at SFA in Nacogdoches, TX.

Benjamin and I have been married over a year now! He is such a blessing to me… Ben helps me laugh, rest, and give control back to God. It is blissful to marry your best friend : )
